Canon's Commitment to the Environment

In addition to adhering to Canon's corporate environmental assurance philosophy during our daily operations and research efforts, Canon U.S. Life Sciences, Inc.(CLS) strives to develop products that aid in the elimination of threats to humankind and our environment.

Canon takes an approach to business that is socially and environmentally responsible and, as a subsidiary company of Canon U.S.A., Inc., CLS also strives to improve our relationships with local communities and increase our respect for the environment. CLS meets the  ISO 14001 standard, providing organizations with a framework for developing an effective Environmental Management System (EMS). We continue to monitor and improve our EMS by conducting internal and external audits.
